The food quality of this yum cha place appeared to have recently gone down hill. We came here on a Saturday morning. We didn't need to wait, which was surprising but we had to fetch our orders and line up, which is not something I'm used to for this restaurant.

Food was average. And it wasn't necessarily cheap either.

Service - nothing unexpected for a Chinese restaurant.

The restaurant was at least clean and tidy and there's plenty of carparks.

I prefer to post positive reviews! The objective of Google reviews is to inform others about your experience. Your personal time with your family & friends is precious, as is your hard earned money. This restaurant should be 100% successful, read their older reviews, but something has gone very wrong! On arrival we waited 45 minutes for a table, the restaurant was busy & we were walk ins, we accepted the wait, thinking it would be worth it. We were shown to our table, they explained you fill in an order form, then queue at the back counter. There is no Cart service & the number of dishes was surprisingly limited, which was disappointing, but we joined the queue hoping the food was going to be good! There were approx 20+ people in line, it moved painfully slowly. The waitress provided our table with a pot of green tea, cups and a large hot water jug, but I realised that was the end of any attentive service, you needed the hot water to refill your teapot & quench your hunger. We waited over an 1 hour in the queue. The table next to us, were a young group of Chinese professionals, they told me they had waited nearly 2 hours, their food was cold & not the quality they expected, telling me this place had changed since Covid. They were very angry & said they wouldn’t come back! I considered leaving, you are charged a $2 seating fee per person, we had our tea, we were hungry so we hoped the food would make up for it! You present your order form at a back counter, the busy servers scramble around to get your dishes. A refrigerated food cabinet was leaking, a large sheet was tucked under it, their food counter is positioned next to the toilets. They didn’t appear to have enough staff, priority seems to go towards serving the private banquet rooms. You are handed a tray piled with dishes & have to get it back to your table. All of our dishes were lukewarm, not the piping hot food you’d expect from a normal Yum Cha. The soy & chilli condiments were disappointingly small for our table of 3. The soy sauce seemed like a low quality sauce. The fun of Yum Cha carts is the interaction with the servers, the variety of food options & the experience of sharing a meal with loved ones, friends or business colleagues, you also have the ability to keep ordering additional food if hungry. It feels like they are cutting corners to keep their costs down. Ordering at the back counter slows the whole dining experience, you remain longer, get angrier & order less. We also went home hungry! Nobody wanted to join the queue again! The food & service was extremely disappointing, don’t waste your time or money. I’ve been going to various Yum Cha restaurants for 30+ years, I’ve worked in Hong Kong, lived in Howick, NZ, and travelled to other countries, this was my worst Yum Cha experience! I hope they get their business back on track!

This is definitely the worst dimsum restaurant I have ever been to in my whole life.

1st, we talk about the service. There is no cart service there. And then you need to make an order list and queue at the counter and pick your own food(?????). Need to take away? Please go to the counter and ask for the tupperware. Basically you just DIY everything.

2nd, order the tea, and somehow the tea appears to be oily. I don't know what happened. As it is shown in the pictures.

3rd, the food. Yeah, as my headline, worst dimsum restaurant. I just don't find the food nice.

I'm surprised to see it is very crowded though. But I would never visit here again.
So yeah. Stop wasting your time and money at this restaurant.

Have been here more than two years, visit nearly three times a month, not sure what happen??

The dish quality and quantity become so low and less!! I’m not complaint about the service because I’m Asian and I knew most Asian restaurant’s service is, for me a restaurant most important is the food! But this is more than disappointed!

Today, I arrived around 10:15, most people come here for early tea would be the “old Asians” sadly most of them become chasing waitress and asking about where are our food??

    Good luck..

There's a reason why this place is always packed: super decadent and moreish servings of food, you could almost close your eyes, tick some boxes and you'll end up with a winner.

Would recommend this one if you're looking for an authentic yum cha experience. Give their French-style pork buns a go, always family fave when we head down here.

Firstly, service is horrible. They would just intrude between people and take dishes away. Secondly, the food is between so so and bad. There was one dish that we ordered called "Wu Wor Yuk" (回鍋肉). It's supposed to be spicy. It's definitely not authentic and not Chinese. I would not recommend anyone to come here.
